As a member of the Madison community, we know how important it is to support our small businesses, local events and charities.

In this week's blog, we want to share 4 things to do in Madison, WI this weekend!

1. 45th Annual Monroe Street Festival

SEPTEMBER 9

"Don't miss out on the excitement and small town charm of the annual Monroe Street Festival in Madison, WI! This beloved and free event offers something for everyone, from face painting and balloons to live music and international dancers. Explore the sidewalk sales and special offers at local shops while enjoying the festive food offerings at our many restaurants."

2. Thirsty Troll Brew Fest

SEPTEMBER 9

"The Thirsty Troll Brew Fest is an intimate beer sampling that features 30+ craft brewers and fermenters from across the Midwest serving over 125 different beers, ciders, seltzers, and more. "

3. North Street Vintage Market

SEPTEMBER 9

"Join us on Sunday, September 9th for the summer vintage market held at North Street. This outdoor market will feature local vendors selling woodcrafts, household items, vintage clothing and more. Young Blood Beer Co will be serving their great craft beer and will be serving pizzas and other snacks. This event is all ages and we hope you’ll come out and join us!"

4. Madison Good Neighbor Gathering

SEPTEMBER 10

"One of the many wonderful things about Madison is our music and arts festivals, but can you think of one that is exclusively focused on children and their families? The Madison Good Neighbor Gathering (“GNG”), held every September in Brittingham Park to honor national Good Neighbor Day, is the ONLY Madison area festival that puts children and families first. Uniquely and  specifically focused on community building and open to the public, the GNG is sponsored by seven neighborhood associations on Madison’s near westside that have been working together to build community and connections across demographic and geographic boundaries."
